London - do - Borough Market

Borough Market

A gut-busting cornucopia of London’s best meat, veg, bread and coffee

Most definitely my favorite market.. anywhere. Although this fab market gets really busy it's well worth the visit. There is an unbelievable selection of the most beautiful and delicious food stuffs.. Surround yourself by smells, sounds and best: taste! As you sample your way through the market, try an olive here, a bit of brownie there, -ah, yes please, I will try your artisan bonbons - thanks.. Fresh local hand made food which looks too good to eat. It's not though.. eat, eat! Eat regional pates and terrines, homemade chutneys, hand made pies, quiches, tartlets, cheeses, Cornish air dried lamb.. Around the market are also lovely café’s and little restaurants. Have a look at Konditor & Cook, who do amazing little works-of-art-magic-cakes and apparently Monmouth do the best coffee in London.. I actually came home with: yes food, but also the Borough market apron as I got to feel very inspired indeed..
