A bit out of town and not too easy to get to but the 'Meet factory's' different and slightly wacky programme is definitely worth the trek. Located in a huge old factory and recognizable by the two red fibre glass cars hanging from the building and the enormous pig painted on the side.. Cross the rail road tracks and expect anything from B-film Tuesday, to a pop up roller skating rink or live music ranging from trash metal to noise guitar and from punk rock to indie electronic.. Or maybe you were wanting to check out the factory's political cabaret, DJ nights, battle of the year break dancing competition or to see the work of the 14 resident artists presenting their work on open studio days.. See! Loads of interesting and innovative stuff going on here. Check the Meet Factory's website for their varied and cutting edge programme..
Not very polished but independent and wildly original. And as founder David Cerny says: 'There's no one to bother with the noise where we are. Here we can have 1000 people at an event'..
