This lovely old-style chocolate / sweet shop has been catering to chocaholic cravings and fruit jelly freaks for over a century.. It's a family business that was set up in Turin in 1850 but moved to Rome in 1886 and every one of the 100+ different kinds of chocolates and sweets are handmade on-site using recipes which have been handed down from generation to generation.. This chocolate is serious stuff!
Every piece gets individually wrapped and ribboned and they only use the finest of ingredients. The shop is dimly lit and kept at the right temperature and the selection on offer would even put Willy Wonka to shame.. So get your hand out of that box of Ferrero Rocher as Rome's oldest and quite possibly best chocolate shop has other ideas in store for you..
Everything you buy is exquisitely packaged and possibly the best thing about the shop is the smell when you come in.. I dare you to resist!
