London - eat - Bone Daddies

Bone Daddies

Outstanding ramen, if you can manage to snag a seat from the crowd

Make your way to Bone Daddies via the twisty, cobblestone streets of SOHO, avoiding peak hours please, as it gets jammed packed with others in search of a cheap ramen fix in this trendy area. It’s quite a large space full of communal tables, friendly staff and a soundtrack that doesn’t make me feel like the ancient dinosaur that I am. Any one of the ramen dishes will be delicious, I promise. A 20 hour pork broth in their Tonkotsu Ramen has drawn me in before, but the aromatic Tantanmen is a must-try as well. Start with yellowtail sashimi with chilli, lime, soy and coriander. The thin slices of yellowtail are served on skewers with a round of green chilli and a coriander leaf placed on each piece. The whole plate is then doused in the lime soy dressing. If the fried shell crabs with a green chilli and ginger sauce are on offer, grab them!
