How can a restaurant not be intriguing if their entire website is devoted to instructions on finding the place... Through this alley, then that one, over the fence, under that tunnel, through someone’s house... well maybe not quite like that but almost.. When you have found the scruffy brown door lit by 16 light bulbs you have found hip veggie restaurant Cookies Cream. The exposed brick walls, soft lighting and low ceilings make for a trendy loft like vibe. Said that the waitstaff are casual, very friendly and there is a surprisingly diverse crowd. Head chef Stephan Hentschel creates inventive high end dishes as nettle cream soup with almond tortelloni or parmezan dumplings with artichokes, bbq tomato & alloyed sauce.. Everything I ate was absolutely perfect and it was actually and honestly one of the best meals I have ever had!
Flesh-free and flavour-packed inventive dishes. Ah- and also eating here gives you free entry to glam, subterranean Cookies Club downstairs... You'll have to find the restaurant first though..
