Owner 'Niels' got 'laughed at' by his mates when he told them of his plans to open this restaurant in no-go North! Hmm, to be honest we can see why as it's located well of the beaten track along some unsightly industrial buildings and you wouln't happen to pass it unless you're on a boat and going down the river..
But does it get busy? It gets packed! And this place is ENORMOUS! 1.200 square meters of high ceilings, exposed steal beams, rusty chains and other industrial-ness in this stripped back and barely converted shed.. There is a huge chandelier made from glass bottles and a couple of classic cars dotted around the place. Yes, really.
We like the long tables and plastic chairs combined with pristine white table cloths and we like that's it's oh-so-hip but at the same time laid back and totally unpretentious with a mixed crowd, high noise levels and chatty waitstaff wearing jeans & a tee..
Food is fresh and affordable with a seasonally changing menu and we've heard nothing but good words about their French fare..
It's different, it's new and we like that. We like that a lot..
