Hands down Amsterdam's best Italian restaurant is located in the city's colourful 'Quartier Latin' area known as 'De Pijp'. This Italian restaurant is Italian owned, serves food freshly prepared by Italian chefs and there's a good chance you'll be served by super friendly Italian owner Adriano.
Expect Italian cuisine with a refreshing, modern twist, more fresh pasta's to shake a wooden spoon at and a selection of beautiful yet affordable Italian wines. In the middle of the restaurant is the open kitchen from which chef Sandra plates generous portions of really quite exquisite food which has been faultless every time! (and trust us we've tried and tested plenty of times)
Their fresh and contemporary cuisine is reflected in the interior which is spacious and light with a huge skylight and changing art on the white brick walls.
Expect to eat too much as you simply can't leave a single scrap behind. The coffee panna cotta is just too tasty or try the -go, on you know you want to- 'gran dessert' which is a selection of them all. Lethal..
It's one of these rare places that really ticks all the boxes with a big, fat TICK.
And also seriously, the panna cotta :)
